Laptops 4 Learning partnered with the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Education Division on December 3rd to distribute laptops to students and veterans. Students that attend 6 local schools were able to receive discounted laptops partially funded from grants from the Desert Financial Credit Union Foundation and the North Scottsdale Rotary Club.
Laptops 4 Learning (L4L) is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization, whose mission is to provide laptop computers to economically disadvantaged K thru College students and military service veterans. L4L partners with public and private school districts, alternative schools, colleges, community organizations, churches and veteran support groups, to identify and connect with students and veterans who are without a computer.
